This is a great replacement waffle iron. We loved our other one, but this one is good. The waffles taste great. (We switched to whole wheat flour and the kids and I LOVE waffles now)
The iron does leak out the sides as to be expected, but seems to do it right where the knobs are!! Makes for tougher cleanup. But we have only used 3 times so I am sure we will come up with a 'least' messy strategy. Definitely recommend and would buy again.

Although the product arrived with a broken plastic access plate on the underside of the iron, it worked properly and makes quantities of waffles in little time.

We'd ordered this as a larger replacement for our much-loved Cuisinart WMB-2 waffle maker, which just died after 5 years of weekly service.
Sadly, we didn't read carefully enough. This makes waffles with small indents, not Belgian waffles. The individual waffles are also quite a bit smaller, rectangular instead of square, and use quite a bit less batter per waffle. So back it went, and we got the Cuisinart WAF-4B model instead, which only makes four waffles at a time but we like the waffle dimensions better.
Also, I can see why people complain about the size of the handle -- the heat-protected part really is narrow and would not be a full-hand operation (I wear women's size small gloves).

I bought this item because my husband LOVES waffles. We are also a family of four so I opted for the 6 slice as opposed to a smaller unit.
The waffle iron works well and previous frozen waffles work like a charm reheated in the toaster iron. However, the only complaint I have is the foot design for cleaning. Getting accustomed to how much batter to pour takes time. My first batch I used the suggested 2 cups of batter and when I closed the top, batter poured all over the sides. There is a little lip on the bottom with a space between the lip and the unit so batter gets caked in the space which nearly makes it impossible to clean completely. Clearly the design team didn't actually make waffles after they created it.

Hey I can actually eat waffles with the rest of the family they cook quickly and yea 6 at a time and they are so yummy!!!!!
