We are ordering this 12" skillet to round out our set of Cuisinart Multiclad Pro SS because WE LOVE THIS STUFF! My husband and I ordered the hard-to-find 17 piece set and we're so glad we did. The cookware is beautiful, solid, cooks superbly and is a fantastic value. Since getting the set, we've added 2 2-qt. saucepans and a 3 1/2 qt. casserole with lid. The 17-piece set comes with a FANTASTIC 5 1/2 qt. saute pan with lid that we could not live without. If you are ordering this 12-inch fry pan, consider ordering the 5 1/2 qt. saute pan as well. The lid for the saute pan will fit the fry pan, too, and you'll be so happy you ordered both.

A very good product. If you want a lid, then buy one...don't try that "deceptive seller" routine. Just be an aware buyer and read the product description that never says it comes with a lid and the picture shows the product without a lid. Sheesh! Dealing with the American consumer is a pain. Oh, heat you pan first, then add oil and food to reduce sticking. Also, learn to drive a car before you drive one. Sheesh!

Thought it's time to rate my products as I ALWAYS read the reviews before purchasing. In short, LOVE MY PAN! You don't have to worry about the teflon coating peeling as I've heard that this can cause cancer. These pans will eventually become heirlooms because they NEVER wear out. Well worth the money (and cheaper on Amazon.com).

If you purchased the cuisinart set, you need this piece. Only other problem is that you may need a 12" cover which is $69 on Cuisinart web site. I just purchased the 12" Cuisinart MultiClad Pro Casserole with Lid for $60 on Amazon to complete the set.

this cookware seems to be very well made. As with all stainless one must use a good amount of oil to keep food from sticking, but they do clean up well if filled with water directly after use. Given the choice between olive oil and plastic, well I'd rather have a bit extra oil in my diet. The only reason not to give five stars at this point is I want to see how it holds up. In the past I've been very disapointed with Cuisinart's Teflon cookware, it did not live up to it's name. We have a gas cooktop and the cookware seems to be preforming well.
