When i go these tong today i opened it and went wtf? the tips are so flimsy there not as strong as my kitchenaid ones i spent a hair more and love should of just bought again not one that feel like a just got them from a dollar store ...

I agree with the previous review. Not rigid enough. Pay the extra and buy the OXO Good Grip's version.They still cost less than a dropped steak.

I ordered this in red, and it is not as pretty in real life as it is in the amazon picture. The big reason for the low rating, though, is that the quality of hte product is not what I expected. In particular, the tongs are not rigid enough for my use. The silicone bends under normal pressure and that makes it difficult to use. also the metal scrapes on metal when i pull the open/close latch in and out, which can sound like fingers down a chalkboard.

Very good for food that has some kind of coating,
picks it out of the pan easily. Especially gentle on teflon or any non stick cook wear, will not stratch it.
