We received a set of three of these as a wedding gift, which we registered for after reading overall positive reviews here, and we're thoroughly disappointed. These pans don't heat evenly, they're almost impossible to clean (any kind of stain or burn will simply stick and never come off), both pot handle and lid handle get way too hot to touch on any flame over about medium.
Don't like 'em, wouldn't buy 'em again.

I owned this line of saucepans for a year with no complaints. Basically, it has all of the benefits that stainless steel pans should have. However, I had a mishap recently - and as a result, I will never purchase this cookware (or probably anything else made by Cusinart) ever again. Most of us out there have forgot to put water in their steamer - or left the kettle on to long, or boiled water away. Usually, at worse, this results in a discolored or misshapen pan. In my case (forgot to put the water in for steaming veggies for), it resulted in a dangerouse accident and the destruction of my cooktop. The pan, left on the stove for 5 minutes without water, detached from the aluminum core that was attached to the bottom, and when I went to remove the pan from the burner, it poured moltin aluminum onto my cook top. Thankfully, nobody was hurt. The cusinart people were downright rude in their response when I emailed them about this safty issue.
I am not sure if this design flaw is just a Cusinart problem, or if all pans that are custructed in the same way, with the separte plate on the bottom holding the alumnim core, also present the same safty issue. I decided that I will not be buying any more pans with this method of construction. If you cook everyday, and have been doing so for years, you are bound to make this mistake at least once - and when it does happen, your cookware should not put you, your children, or your pets in danger due to an obvious design flaw.

I have used this saucepan just a few times. The construction is great but not too heavy. Cleanup is easy and it looks like new after washing.
I highly recommend this. The price is great as well as the quality.

This is the best cooking sauce pan I have ever used. It heats evenly and has a lid that closes tightly, definitely worth the money. If you are looking for quality, you will find it with this product, don't waste your money on other cookware when you can have the best.
